Six more rookies sign with Chiefs

? The Kansas City Chiefs signed six rookie free agents to two-year contracts on Tuesday.

Terms were not available for the contracts signed by guards L.J. Anderson and Edwin Harrison, safety Khayyam Burns, linebackers Weston Dacus and Lerue Rumph, and running back Dantrell Savage.

Anderson played 36 games in three seasons at Central Florida, including 11 starts at right guard last year when he helped running back Kevin Smith lead the nation with 2,567 yards rushing and 30 touchdowns.

Savage rushed for 2,092 yards in two seasons for Oklahoma State, Dacus played all three linebacker positions in 49 games at Arkansas and Rumph started 24 games and played special teams at North Carolina State.

Harrison, grandson of former Iowa guard and 1955 Outland Trophy winner Calvin Jones, started 29 games for Colorado.

Burns started 47 games at Arkansas State, finishing his career with 331 tackles and five interceptions.
