Sorry to hear about your friend.I wish him and his family the best. But, often, those kinds of crimes are not reported in the newspaper.I personally, know of several assaults where the people were seriously injured but were never reported in the LJW. I too, wonder why.Hope they find the guilty parties in your case, and bring them to justice.

A friend of mine was attacked on Sunday night at Quinton's for trying to break up a fight. He is being treated for serious head trauma including multiple skull fractures, brain swelling, and internal bleeding. This is a very serious situation, so if anyone was in or around Quinton's that night and saw anything, or knows anyone who saw something, PLEASE contact the Lawrence Police Department. I was not there, I did not see them, so I can not give an accurate description of the suspects, but from what I've heard they are allegedly 4-6 white males, mid 20s, one of them had dreadlocks (really narrows it down, I know, sorry). Someone, somewhere HAS to know these people, or have seen something. Imagine if this was your best friend, your brother, your co-worker, your cousin in ICU..you would want people to come forward. ANY info is helpful. Thank you!!P.S. Why is there no record of this happening anywhere in the newspaper???
