Mrs. Ethan Allen of Lawrence filed as a Republican candidate for the Kansas Board of Education representing the 3rd District.

An additional $2,500-plus boost from the Kansas University staff pushed the Fairgrounds Community Day Camp fund past the $46,000 mark, just short of the goal of $46,500.
