Law enforcement report

¢ One person receiving dialysis at the Renal Dialysis Center at KU Hospital, 4720 Rainbow Blvd. in Westwood, received minor injuries Saturday when a vehicle crashed through the building, according to KU Hospital Spokesman Bob Hallinan. The accident occurred before noon when 12 patients and eight employees were in the center.

Hallinan said the vehicle came through one wall on the northern side of the building, passed by the nurses station and came to rest near the opposite wall. Hallinan said the patient who received minor injuries was treated and released. He said there were no other injuries. Westwood police could not be reached Saturday.

Hallinan said patients will go to the main hospital for dialysis while the center is temporarily closed.
