Buttonwood Art Space will host a “First Friday Opening” from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. June 6.

Buttonwood Art Space is located at 3013 Main St., in Kansas City, Mo. It is in the Buttonwood Financial Building, formerly the Union Hill Art Gallery.

The Modern Photography medium is titled “An Urban Essay,” emphasizing local photographic artists’ perspectives.

All artworks in the exhibit and unframed images are for sale. The show is viewable 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. weekdays or by appointment. The show closes July 26.
