The Lawrence Children’s Choir Touring Choir will have auditions this week for the upcoming 2008-2009 season, choosing elementary and junior high students who will represent the city on the choir’s 2009 tour to the Eastern European countries of Latvia and Lithuania. Individual auditions for current fourth- through eighth-graders will take place from 3:30 p.m. to 6 p.m. Tuesday and Wednesday in West Junior High School’s choral room, 2700 Harvard Road. Those who wish to audition must call 331-4662 to schedule an audition time. A practice audition, which does not require registration, will be 4:30 p.m.-4:45 p.m. Monday at the same location.
