Boy Scout Troop 52 chartered to First United Methodist Church participated in the District Camporee at Bromelsick on April 11-13. Boy Scouts who attended were Matt Rood, Gavin Spence, Andrew Dominguez, Robert Newman, Eli Schneck, Caelan Golledge, Darren Rawlings, Doug Rawlings, Cory Church, Mason Davis, Thomas Peterson, Matt Dominguez, Andrew Denny, John Bennett and Drew Sheppard. Adults who attended were Chris Golledge, Rowley Tedlock, Richard Rawlings, Marie Wilson and Robert Newman.

Scouts from Troop 52 also rode on the Katy Bike Trail in Missouri on March 28-30. The following Scouts completed mileage on the bike course:

¢ 5 miles: Gavin Spence and Andy Dominguez.

¢ 7 miles: Eli Schneck.

¢ 10 miles: Mason Davis and Nathan Weeks.

¢ 15 miles: Dakota Zinn and Darren Rawlings.

¢ 20 miles, the entire course: Jarod Brynds, Stephan Kuczera, Cory Church, Vail Moshiri, Matthew Dominguez, Garret Weeks, Thomas Peterson, Doug Rawlings, Brendan Golledge, Robert Newman and Drew Sheppard.

Quail Run Girl Scout Troop 7570 has completed requirements for the Girl Scout Bronze Award, the highest award for Junior Girl Scouts. To earn the award, the sixth-graders painted a map of the United States on the playground of Quail Run School and compiled two notebooks of map activities and state facts to be kept in the library for use by teachers and students.

Troop members include Katie Bandle, Leah Coons, Kaitlin Dunbar, Brooke Glasnapp, Miah Glover, Alexa Harmon-Thomas, Kaitlyn Johnson, Madelyn Lawrence, Nila Mandal, Hannah Moran, Rianon Wallace-Demby, Bailey Watson, Bret Watson, Sarah Whipple and Maddie Woodard. The girls were to be honored on May 8 at a dinner and award ceremony where they bridged into Cadette Scouting. Troop advisers are Cris Bandle and Cindy Johnson.
