Wakarusa museum open for season

The Wakarusa River Valley Heritage Museum is now open for the season. The museum at Clinton Lake’s Bloomington Beach will be open from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays. It is open by appointment at other times. Call 748-9836.
The museum’s featured display this year will be agriculture. The permanent three-dimensional Underground Railroad exhibit has been updated. There is a new exhibit, “Freedom’s Light,” which along with the Underground Railroad exhibit interprets the process for a new windmill sculpture.
