Roberts Blisters Par: Conrad Roberts shot a three-under-par 69 and won the weekly Jayhawk Golf Club tournament Sunday at Alvamar by five strokes over Chris Anderson. Bud Stagg was third with a 76. In net scoring, Richard Dykes and Randy Gebhards each recorded a 64. Jeff Miller was third with a 68.

¢ Girls Basketball: The Sunflower Invitational, a Lady Prospects basketball tournament with seventh grade, eighth grade, high school open and high school elite divisions, will be May 24-25 at various Lawrence facilities. ¢ Nash Dash: The Nash Dash, an 8K and mile fun run, will be May 31 on the Kansas River trails. It’s a fund-raiser for WRAP, which places mental health professionals from the Bert Nash Center into Lawrence and area schools. The participant who raises the most money will win a basketball autographed by Kansas University’s national championship team. For information, go to www.bertnash.org.

¢ Force U-12 Runner-up: Kaw Valley Force U-12 girls soccer finished second in the Governor’s Cup last weekend in Topeka, bowing to Shawnee Elite Real in the title match. Coaches were Riny deBoer and Roland deBoer.
