The flagpole that holds the Kansas University flag atop Fraser Hall broke, but it has been repaired.
Lauren Beatty, a KU spokeswoman, said Facilities Operations officials worked this week on fixing the flagpole. It flies atop the building, which is the highest point on campus, along with the American flag.
The KU flagpole was down at least since Friday, Beatty said, but it was up again Tuesday. It could have been broken during an early Friday morning storm that caused widespread damage in the Lawrence area.
