The Lawrence Chamber of Commerce’s search for its next president and chief executive officer is lining up to be shaped by comments from members and the public gathered during meetings Thursday and Friday.

Officials from Waverly Partners, an executive search firm hired by the organization to help find a replacement for departed President and CEO Lavern Squier, are planning to accept input during hour-long sessions Thursday and Friday in Lawrence.

People will be given an opportunity to offer thoughts on what role the chamber’s chief executive ought to have, and what the chamber needs to be successful.
