Atlanta – Chipper Jones drove in five runs for Atlanta.

Denver – Aaron Cook gave the Rockies the strong outing they needed, and Matt Holliday went 2-for-4 with two RBIs for Colorado.

Houston – Hunter Pence hit a two-run homer in the bottom of the 12th to lead Houston over Milwaukee.

Phoenix – Conor Jackson’s ninth-inning throwing error allowed New York’s Carlos Beltran to score the go-ahead run.

Cardinals 5, Cubs 3

St. Louis – Albert Pujols reached base for the 32nd consecutive game, one shy of his personal best to start the year, and did it with a go-ahead, two-run double in the fourth inning for St. Louis.
