Nash Dash: The Nash Dash, an 8K and mile fun run, will be May 31 on the Kansas River trails. It’s a fund-raiser for WRAP, which places mental health professionals from the Bert Nash Center in Lawrence and area schools. The participant who raises the most money will win a basketball autographed by Kansas University’s national championship team. For information, go to www.bertnash.org.

Terranova Low: Mark Terranova shot a 74 and won Sunday’s Jayhawk Golf Club weekly tournament at Alvamar by a stroke over Brian Tuttle. Bob Bezek was third with an 80. In net scoring, Jack Schwartz was low with a 70. Mike Naegele carded 74 and Van Reichert 76.

Hummell Hole-in-One: Dennis Hummell used a 3-wood Tuesday to ace the No. 7 hole at Alvamar. Ken Mitchell, Bob Watkins, John Towner and Pat Roszel were witnesses.

Youth Football: A football camp for youths entering grades 3-9 run by Free State High coach Bob Lisher and Lawrence High coach Dirk Wedd will be June 23-26. Registration forms are available at city elementary schools.
