CLAREMORE, OKLA. Hunter Schieb went 2-for-3 with a solo home run, and the Free State baseball team defeated Springfield (Mo.) Kickapoo, 5-2, on Saturday.
Ryan Scott earned the win for the Firebirds. He pitched four innings and struck out six.
