The Wednesday Afternoon Bridge Club’s game on March 19 was directed by Chris Lane. The North-South players were led by Harry Shaffer and Ed Howard, with Grant Sutton and Catherine Blumenfeld placing second. Clarice Broz and Marilyn Martin were third. Julia Brooks and Wanda Durbin placed fourth.
The East-West players were led by Eldon Herd and Shari Krentzel, with David Piro and Paul Heitzman placing second. Adelaide Nyquist and Jolene Andersen were third. Mark Osborn and Jack Flickinger tied in fourth place with Carl Mibeck and Jack Mibeck.
¢The Thursday Morning Mentor game on March 20 was directed by Chris Lane. Marilyn Martin and Virginia Seaver led, with Chris Lane and Ann Thompson placing second. Jean Khatib and Shari Krentzel were third place. Earle Core and Grant Sutton placed fourth.
The Friday Afternoon Bridge Club’s game on March 21 used the Howell movement and was directed by Virginia Seaver. Debbi Bettinger and Shari Krentzel led, with Ed Howard and John Fittell placing second. Clyde Romer and Kent McCullough were third. Julia Dalton and Lester Dalton placed fourth. Lynn Hui and Harry Shaffer were fifth in A. Catherine Blumenfeld and Ann Thompson placed second in C.
¢The Monday Evening Bridge Club’s game on March 24 was directed by Virginia Seaver. The North-South players were led by Clyde Romer and Kent McCullough, with Jerry Sloan and Emily Foster placing second. Harry Shaffer and Jambo Zhang were third. Julia Dalton and Lester Dalton placed fourth. Virginia Seaver and Klee Zaricky were fifth in A, with Betty Collier and Virginia Eddy placing first in C. Earle Core and Albert Ballard were second in C.
