¢Vanessa Mahkuk and Leonard Higgins, both of Lawrence, announce the birth of their daughter, Brianna Rachell Higgins, born March 17, 2008, at Lawrence Memorial Hospital.

Brianna has two sisters Iona, 7, and Gabriella, 3.

Her maternal grandparents are Moneta Cadue, Lawrence, and the late Anthony Mahkuk. Her paternal grandparent is Kimberly Higgins, Lawrence.

¢John and Traci Fullerton, Baldwin City, announce the birth of their son, Cooper Vaughn Fullerton, born Dec. 12, 2007, at Overland Park Regional Medical Center, Overland Park.

Cooper has a sister, Riley, 5, and a brother, Logan, 22 months.

His maternal grandparents are Gary and Phyllis Barnard, Lawrence. His paternal grandparents are Kay Fullerton, Dallas, and Dan Fullerton, New York. His great-grandparent is Helen Barnard, Auburn.

¢Rhoda M. Peachey, Lawrence, was inducted into the Alpha Iota Gamma Chapter of Phi Theta Kappa on March 9 at Johnson County Community College.

Peachey is majoring in Liberal Arts and General Studies. She is the daughter of the late David and Miriam Peachey, Sunbury, Pa. She lived in Honduras for 35 years.
