4-H and FCE news

The Pioneer 4-H Club’s January and February meetings were at the Wilson household. The meetings were called to order by Claire Blevins, president.

It was announced Douglas County 4-H Club Days would be March 1 at South Junior High School. Door monitors were needed for the Show-N-Share and Project Talk room. The Keens, Siscoe and Crumet families volunteered to watch the door. It was also announced there will not be a Food Fare this year.

The Wilsons announced the date for Spring Weigh Ins for Douglas County. The next meeting will be at the Keen household. The club talked about its adventure to the Salt Mine in Hutchinson. Those who attended had a great time and brought home great souvenirs.
