Royals roll

? Zack Greinke knew he was pitching well, he just didn’t know most of the guys he was facing.

Greinke allowed one run and three hits in five innings, helping the Kansas City Royals rout a San Francisco Giants split squad, 13-3, on Sunday.

“I hardly recognized any names in the entire lineup,” Greinke said. “I’ve heard of their leadoff hitter (Fred Lewis), and I faced (Justin) Leone in Double-A. I hadn’t pitched in a ‘B’ game, so I guess it was my time.”

Most of the Giants’ regulars stayed in Scottsdale to face the Los Angeles Angels.
