Seventeen Lawrence area residents were arrested on drug charges, capping a nine-month investigation by local law enforcement personnel. Early arrests entailed charges ranging from possession of marijuana to possession of cocaine with intent to sell. About 75 law enforcement people from various agencies took part in the big raid.
