2008 WNIT Bracket

The Kansas University women’s basketball team, which finished the 2007-08 regular season and league tournament with an overall record of 16-15 overall (4-12 Big 12), will host a second-round WNIT game next Monday in Allen Fieldhouse. Tip time is not yet set, with more information to be released Tuesday.

The Jayhawks will get the winner of a Thursday opening round matchup between Evansville (20-11) and Southeast Missouri State (23-8).

This marks Bonnie Henrickson’s second postseason appearance in her four seasons at KU, with the other also being in the WNIT to finish the 2005-06 season. There, the Jayhawks went 1-1.
