The Kanawaka 4-H club meeting was called to order at 7 p.m. on Feb. 11. Roll call was answered by Laffy Taffy jokes.

Twelve members were present with no visitors. There was no reporters report or county council report.

Mrs. Rainey informed the club of a photo camp for 13- to 16-year-olds. The T-shirt committee met and new shirts were ordered. Presentations were given by Jennalee Dixon and Alexandra McMillen. There were no recognitions. The Leslies will be the host family for March. The Lyches will clean the hall in March. The next meeting will be at 7 p.m. Monday. The meeting was adjourned with the club motto.

Kanwaka FCE unit will meet at 1 p.m. Tuesday at the home of Lyn Walther. Margaret Fuston will give the lesson “Books the Other Channel.”

India FCE unit will meet at 1 p.m. Thursday at King Buffet. Genny Hunsinger will give the lesson “Healthy Choices When Eating Out.”
