Jailer arrested, accused of sex with inmate

? A Reno County jail deputy is accused of having consensual sex with a female inmate in a cell.

Jeremy McClintock, 23, is charged with three counts of unlawful sexual relations stemming from alleged conduct on Jan. 16.

District Attorney Keith Schroeder said in a news release that McClintock allegedly had engaged in sexual intercourse, lewd touching and sodomy.

He was arrested Friday and booked into the McPherson County Jail. His bond is set at $7,500.

Reno County Sheriff Randy Henderson says the arrest of any law enforcement officer is always tragic. He says he wants to reassure citizens that they have honest, hardworking employees at the sheriff’s office.
