University Bridge Club announces results of its Feb. 23 meeting. Hosts were Mary and Dave Gaumer. Blue winners were Florence McNicoll, first; Rhetta Jo Noever, second; Ray Ikenberry, third; Marc Kuepker, fourth; and Walt Hicks, fifth. Pink winners were Donna Riehm, first; Alice Akin, second; Jo Anne Kready, third; Edna Galle, fourth; and Lois Liebert, fifth.

¢The Wednesday Afternoon Bridge Club’s Feb. 20 game was directed by Chris Lane. The North-South players were led by Julia Dalton and Lester Dalton at first in A and B followed by Julia Brooks and Wanda Durbin. Clyde Romer and Kent McCullough placed third in A followed by Judy Hildreth and Polly Schoning. Jolene Andersen and Ann Thompson placed second in B and first in C.

East-West players were led by Eldon Herd and Shari Krentzel at first in A and B, with by Virginia Seaver and Madelyn Jenks placing second. Carol Ball and Nita Scales were third in A, second in B and first in C. Adelaide Nyquist and John Fittell were second in C.

¢The Friday Afternoon Bridge Club’s Feb. 22 game utilized a Howell movement and was directed by Virginia Seaver. David Piro and Paul Heitzman placed first in A, with Harry Talley and Don Daugherty at placing second in A and first in B. Ed Howard and John Fittell were third place in A, with Kent McCullough and Clyde Romer placed fourth. Eldon Herd and Emily Foster were fifth, with Jean Khatib and Pat Lechtenberg placing second in B.

¢The Monday Evening Bridge Club’s Feb. 25 game was directed by Virginia Seaver. The North-South players were led by Larry Bodle and Kent McCullough, with Virginia Seaver and Klee Zaricky placing second. Harry Shaffer and Jambo Zhang placed third in A, with Mary Fenlon and Janice Hollowell placing fourth. Earle Core and Albert Ballard were first in B and C.

The East-West players were led by Jeff Mermin and Craig Huneke in A, B and C followed by Jeff Nash and James Masilamani. Terry Tolar and Lynn Hui were third in A and second in B and C. Peter Petillo and David Piro were fourth.
