Hutchinson — Drew Hulse pitched a four-hitter, and the Lawrence Raiders defeated Kansas City Between The Lines, 8-3, on Saturday in the Hutchinson tournament.
The Raiders went 2-2 in the tournament and now are 15-8 overall.
"That' s not what we were shooting for," Raiders coach Shaun Edmondson said, "but we got better. The last two games, we did a good job of doing the little things. We're getting better. By the time the postseason rolls around, we'll be where we want to be."
