Bradley coach joins Kansas softball staff

Buddy Foster, head coach at Bradley University the last three seasons, has been named associate head softball coach at Kansas.

Foster, 39, led the Braves to a 63-73 record during his three years in Peoria, Ill. BU struggled to a 12-27 record last spring.

Foster replaces Jen Sewell, who was an aide to KU head coach Tracy Bunge for the last four seasons. Sewell has joined the softball staff at Southern Illinois.

Before taking the Bradley post, Foster spent six years as an assistant coach at Southern Illinois. He’s a 1991 graduate of Southeast Missouri State.
