Crown Automotive and Lawrence Public Library will have blood drives for the Community Blood Center in July.

The Community Blood Center serves hospitals in Lawrence, Topeka and Kansas City, Kan. The blood center must collect at least 580 pints of blood every day to meet the needs of the area. There is a critical shortage of blood types O and A negative.

The blood drives will be:
