Eudora Boy Scout Troop 64 chartered to Eudora Lions Club cleaned up litter found along both sides of Douglas County Road 442 from Ash Street in Eudora to Kansas Highway 10 on May 12. During the week of May 19, the troop participated in placing flags on all veterans’ graves in five local cemeteries and erecting the avenue of flags at the Eudora City cemetery. The flags were removed after Memorial Day. A troop Court of Honor was given June 2. On June 8, the troop celebrated an Eagle Court of Honor, scouting’s highest honor, for Joseph Walker at the Eudora United Methodist Church. The troop is preparing to attend a week at Camp Naish beginning on June 22.
