Douglas County severe thunderstorm watch has expired
Northwest Douglas County is in a severe thunderstorm warning until 4:15 p.m. as a storm with 60 mph winds and nickel-sized hail enters the area.

The National Weather Service cancelled a severe thunderstorm watch for Douglas County that was scheduled to expire at 9 p.m. today. The county was under a warning from about 3:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. today. Franklin, Osage, Shawnee, Leavenworth, Jefferson and Wyandotte counties also are under a thunderstorm watch until 9 tonight.

well, it was pretty good before it got into dg co.
now, just the occassional thunder.
thunder is so beautiful here in kansas! gnomedog and I were walking on the levee when the warning first came out. we could hear some of the thunder off to the west. wow.
