State Sen. Marci Francisco, D-Lawrence, was commended Friday for having another year of perfect attendance during the legislative session.

“Senator Francisco’s perfect attendance record attests to the tireless effort she has made to represent her community effectively,” said Senate Democratic Leader Anthony Hensley, of Topeka.

Francisco, in her first term, has had a perfect attendance record for four straight years, Hensley said.

The only other senator to have a perfect attendance record in 2008 was Roger Reitz, a Republican from Manhattan.
