Kaw Valley Quilters’ Guild will meet at 7 p.m. Monday and at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday in the meeting room at Plymouth Congregational Church, 925 Vt. The program will be “Quilters’ Stories: Collecting Your Quilt History.” Debra Rowden will be the featured speaker.

¢University Bridge Club announces results of its June 7 meeting. Hosts were Tom and Cathy Waller. Blue winners were Tom Waller, first; Harold Riehm, second; Ray Ikenberry, third; Mary Kanous, fourth; and Bonnie Haney, fifth. Pink winners were Cathy Waller, first; Donna Riehm, second; Florence McNicoll, third; Wanda Kring, fourth; and Mary Gaumer, fifth.

¢The Wednesday Afternoon Duplicate Bridge Club’s game on June 4 was directed by Chris Lane. The North-South players were led by Harry Shaffer and Jeane Landry, with Eleanor Patton and Chris Lane placing second. Clarice Bros and Marilyn Martin were third and Sally Taylor and Yvonne Hedges placed third in B. Ann Thompson and Jolene Andersen were second in C.

The East-West players were led by Virginia Seaver and Shirley George, with Paul Heitzman and David Piro placing second. Grant Sutton and Catherine Blumenfeld were third in A and Wanna Roszel and Bebe Huxtable placed second in B.

¢The Thursday Morning Mentor Bridge Club’s game on June 5 utilized the Howell movement and was directed by Chris Lane. Virginia Seaver and Jean Khatib placed first. Earle Core and Barbara McCorkle tied in second place with Bebe Huxtable and Wana Roszel. Virginia Johnston and Chris Lane tied in fourth with Florine Creek and Julia Brooks.

¢The Friday Afternoon Duplicate Bridge Club’s game on June 6 was directed by Virginia Seaver. Harry Shaffer and Ed Howard placed first and Debbi Bettinger and Shari Krentzel were second. Lester Dalton and Mary Fenlon placed third in A and Klee Zaricky and Betty Collier were second in B.

The East-West players were led by Eldon Herd and Catherine Blumenfeld, with Madelyn Jenks and Mona Bell placing second. Sally Taylor and Virginia Seaver were third and Yvonne Hedges and Shirley George placed fourth.

¢The Sunday Afternoon Duplicate Bridge Club’s game on June 8 was an opening game for qualifying for the North American Pairs competition and was directed by Chris Lane. Marilyn Martin and Jean Khatib placed first. Eleanor Patton and Adelaide Nyquist tied in second place with V’Anne Desch and Virginia Hamilton.

¢The Monday Evening Duplicate Bridge Club’s game on June was a qualifying game for the North American Pairs Competition and was directed by Virginia Seaver. Steve Vossler and David Leitch placed first and Shari Krentzel and Jeane Landry were second. Eldon Herd and Mary Fenlon tied in third place with Jolene Andersen and Pat Musick. Jerry Sloan and Brian Barrett were fifth in A. Dorothy Netson and Barbara Merriam placed second in C. Other qualifiers in the C category were Eleanor Patton and Adelaide Nyquist and Carl Mibeck and Jack Mibeck.
