Drew Hulse struck out eight and allowed six hits in improving to 3-0 for the Raiders (7-0), who will meet Colorado in a second-round game at 8 tonight.

“Anytime Drew is on the mound, you know what you’ll get. He’ll compete his tail off,” Raiders coach Shaun Edmondson said after the Raiders improved to 7-0. “We played extremely well. We ran the bases excellent. Our approach at the plate was excellent.”
