Force U-10 Champs: Kaw Valley Force U-10 girls won the Kansas USSSA Championship soccer tournament. Team members are Kierstin Hutfles, Tori Karlin, Emma Wetzel, Erin Ventura, Eleane Harris, Isabel Kramer, Annaliese Bourgeacq, Skylar Drum, Allie Knapp, Ana Rodriguez and Hannah Walter. Enforcers Second: Kansas Soccer Academy U-13 Enforcers finished second in a USSSA tournament at Youth Sports Inc. fields. Roesler Takes Title: Chad Roesler shot a par 72 and captured Sunday’s Jayhawk Golf Club weekly tournament at Alvamar. Mark Terranova and Van Reichert were runners-up, each with a 76. In net scoring, Bud Stagg, Mike Stein and Mike Farve were low, each with a 68.

Fagan Age-Group Winner: Susie Fagan of Lawrence won her age group and was the 16th woman overall in the Hospital Hill Half-Marathon Saturday in Kansas City, Mo. Fagan was clocked in 1:38:59.

KSA Tryouts: Kansas Soccer Academy will conduct premier team tryouts for U-10 through high school youth at 1 p.m. Saturday and Sunday at Free State High. KSA is operated by Kansas University coach Mark Francis and Free State coach Jason Pendleton.
