Kansas University officials have until Aug. 4 to turn proposed budget cuts in to Provost Richard Lariviere.
University spokeswoman Lynn Bretz said Lariviere and staff within his office would review each area's proposal and then return any questions or suggestions. The Aug. 4 deadline gives staff slightly more than two weeks to prepare a list of suggestions for the Board of Regents Aug. 19 meeting in Wichita.
