Milwaukee is 4-0 on its seven-game trip and a National League-best 35-19 since May 20. The victory moved the Brewers percentage points ahead of St. Louis for second place in the NL Central behind Chicago.

Cincinnati – Kevin Kouzmanoff’s two-run double completed San Diego’s ninth-inning comeback off closer Francisco Cordero, and the Padres snapped their six-game losing streak.

Cordero (4-3) gave up the lead for the second time in his last three appearances.

Phoenix – Randy Johnson improved to 13-0 in 14 career starts against the Cubs, outdueling Rich Harden to earn his 291st career victory.

Denver – James Loney drove in five runs, including a three-run triple in the fifth, and Matt Kemp had two doubles for Los Angeles.
