Commissioners approved a pair of pedestrian safety requests.

Commissioners unanimously agreed to install a $35,000 signalized pedestrian crosswalk on Ninth Street between Highland Drive and Sunset Drive after hearing numerous concerns about pedestrian safety from neighbors.

Commissioners also agreed to pick up the $5,500 cost to have a crossing guard stationed at the intersection of Bob Billings Parkway and George Williams Way.
