Eudora will resemble a construction zone for a few months.

Work is under way on a downtown revitalization project. And city officials learned recently that a $635,000 Kansas Department of Transportation project will affect traffic on the Church Street bridge over Kansas Highway 10. Traffic will be limited to one lane at some points during the project, which should begin in late July and conclude by Oct. 1. The project will include some surface improvements with work on the embankment and approaches to the overpass.

The overpass is one of two roads in Eudora that connect to the southern part of town, location of the middle and high schools – and Eudora Township Fire Department.
