The former head of the Kansas University bus service was sentenced to eight to 20 years in prison and ordered to make restitution for more than $257,000 he apparently embezzled from the bus system. Steve McMurry, 26, who was the longtime coordinator of the bus service, showed no emotion when judge Ralph King imposed the sentence.
