Film stars Jack Nicholson and Timothy Hutton stopped briefly in Lawrence on a “scouting trip” for locations at which to shoot a movie, “The Road Show.” Doug Hassig, co-owner of Johnny’s Tavern, said Nicholson, Hutton and five others traveling with them dropped into the bar for beers and sandwiches.
