Chicago Board of Trade

Agricultural futures settled lower Wednesday on the Chicago Board of Trade. Wheat for March delivery fell 5.5 cents to $9.265; March corn dropped 6.5 cents to $5.025; March oats slipped 8 cents to $3.215; March soybeans lost 24.5 cents to $12.77. Beef and pork futures fell on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange. February live cattle fell 0.75 cent to 90.05 cents; January feeder cattle dropped 0.83 cent to 96.97 cents; February lean hogs fell 0.20 cent to 54.45 cents; February pork bellies lost 1.18 cent to 83.47 cents.
