Norman, Okla. ? Oklahoma forward Keith Clark will miss the rest of the basketball season after becoming academically ineligible, coach Jeff Capel said Thursday.

Clark, a sophomore, had played in each of the Sooners’ first 14 games before sitting out Monday’s victory against Mount St. Mary’s. He had been averaging 5.4 points, including a career-best 13 against Southern California earlier this season.

Capel said Clark would not enroll at Oklahoma for the spring semester.

Oklahoma will play host to Kansas State on Saturday before traveling to Kansas University on Monday.
