The Watkins Community Museum announces a tour planned Jan. 20 at Stepping Stone Ranch in Baldwin City, in conjunction with the exhibit “COWGIRLS: Contemporary Portraits of the American West.” Vera Gannaway, the owner of this real working horse ranch, will lead a tour from noon to 2 p.m. in which participants will meet baby and adult horses, learn about horse anatomy and observe riding lessons.
