Constitution Hall in Lecompton and 15 other state historic sites will revert to regular business hours on Saturday.

Constitution Hall will be open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Wednesday through Saturday and 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday.

The regular hours will allow visitors expanded access to the sites, especially during the summer tourism season, historical society representatives said.

During recent winters, the state sites have reduced their hours so staff can work more closely with schools and community organizations and allow for program development. Tourism traffic also decreases during the winter. Constitution Hall reduces its operating hours to daytime on Fridays and Saturdays and to Sunday afternoons.
