Journal-World seeks weather stories

We’ve all heard the old joke: If you don’t like the weather in Kansas, wait 10 minutes and it’ll change. From the times of the early settlers, weather has shaped the way we live in our state. And, unfortunately, too often the weather turns violent and changes our lives in dramatic ways. In late March, Journal-World will publish a special section devoted to severe weather, and we want your stories about Kansas weather. Have you lived through floods, tornadoes or other bizarre weather phenomena? Send your stories to Terry Rombeck at trombeck@ljworld.com, or to his attention at 645 New Hampshire St., Lawrence, 66044. We’ll include some of the stories in our publication.
