2 arrested, 2 sought in Jet Lag bar fight
Lawrence police broke up a fight involving several people early Friday outside Jet Lag bar, 610 Fla.
Two Lawrence men were arrested and two more men were being sought.
Officers were called to the bar at 1:45 a.m. When they arrived, a crowd of people dispersed, police said. A 22-year-old male bar employee suffered cuts but was treated at the scene and was not taken to a hospital. Two other male employees were treated for abrasions, police said.
Police arrested a 29-year-old Lawrence man for aggravated battery, disorderly conduct and obstruction of justice. He was taken to Douglas County Jail and charges were pending. He also had five warrants for failure to appear in court.
Police also arrested a 25-year-old Lawrence man for battery on a police officer.
Police still are looking for two other suspects. One of them is described as a black man between 30 and 35 years old. He is described as being between 5-foot-10 and 5-foot-11 and weighing 200 to 215 pounds. He has a crew cut and was last seen wearing a red leather jacket with a sports logo and blue jeans. The other suspect was not identified, and there was no description of him.
