Officials set damage at more than $60,000 for a fire in an apartment house at 1345 Vt. There were no injuries but firefighters were hindered by bitter temperatures and a heavy snow cover that created slick and hazardous conditions. An official probe was under way to determine the cause of the fire. Later a woman was questioned after there was some evidence of arson.
