Ottawa takes two from De Soto
Baldwin City ? Drew Berg scored 14 points, and Brandon Tommer and Justin Vander Tuig each added 10 as Baldwin ran away from Louisburg, 61-44, for a high school boys basketball victory on Friday at BHS.
Baldwin (12-3) will travel Tuesday to Paola.
Ottawa 56, De Soto 54
De Soto – Jamel Townsend had 20 points and Andre Linzy 16 in a losing cause.
Ottawa improved to 13-9, while De Soto fell to 8-9.
De Soto will face Eudora on Tuesday.

Lansing – Tongie scored just one point in the first quarter and never recovered. The Chieftains fell to 5-12.

De Soto – Shelby Petty scored 17 points in a losing cause for De Soto.
De Soto (4-13) will entertain Eudora on Tuesday.
Eudora 44, Gardner-Edgerton 33
Eudora – Emily Ballock scired nine of her 15 points in the fourth quarter, and Bailey Scott scored nine of her 11 points in the final period.
The Cardinals led by one point entering the fourth quarter, then exploded for 22 points in the final frame.
Eudora (13-3) will play Tuesday at Tuesday.
Baldwin 53, Louisburg 49
Baldwin City – Tracie Weege scored 18 points, and Clare Miles scored nine to lead the Bulldogs.

Lansing – Chrissie Jeannin scored 13 points and Elizabeth Baska 11 as Tongie improved to 14-2.
The Chieftains will travel on Tuesday to Kansas City Piper.
Santa Fe Trail 42, KC Ward 41
Carbondale – Amanda Bixel’s free throw – the front end of a one-and-one opportunity – with 4.1 seconds left clinched the victory for Santa Fe Trail.
Kelsi Wiscombe led the Chargers with 16 points.
Bixel added 14 for Santa Fe Trail.
SFT improved to 6-10; Ward fell to 10-6.
Trail will face Basehor-Linwood on Tuesday.
