League to present land-use seminar
The League of Women Voters will present a crash course on land use and planning at 2 p.m. Saturday at Lawrence Public Library, 707 Vt.
Bonnie Johnson, an assistant professor at Kansas University’s School of Architecture and Urban Planning, will lead the event.
The event kicks off the League of Women Voters study of Horizon 2020, which is the comprehensive plan for Lawrence and Douglas County. The event is free and open to the public.
