? After an impressive victories against their biggest rivals, Duke is starting to look like a team that fits right in with its storied tradition.

Greg Paulus scored 18 points and was one of six players in double figures in the second-ranked Blue Devils’ 89-78 win over the third-ranked Tar Heels on Wednesday night, ending a three-game losing streak in the heated rivalry.

“They’re pretty special right now,” Blue Devils coach Mike Krzyzewski said. “We know who we are. We’re a very unconventional team. We’re not a strong physical team, but we are strong team emotionally, a real together group.”

No. 1 Memphis 77, SMU 48

Memphis, Tenn. – Reserve guard Andre Allen scored a career-high 19 points, and Joey Dorsey had 10 points and 14 rebounds for undefeated Memphis.

The Tigers extended the nation’s longest home-court winning streak to 45 games.

No. 8 Wisconsin 60, Iowa 54

Iowa City, Iowa – Marcus Landry scored 16 points, Brian Butch added 12 and Wisconsin earned its 13th victory in 14 games.

Joe Krabbenhoft had eight points and eight rebounds.

No. 19 Connecticut 63, Syracuse 61

Syracuse, N.Y. – Jeff Adrien had 19 points and 12 rebounds, A.J. Price added 14 points and Connecticut won its sixth straight game.

Connecticut survived when Jonny Flynn’s desperation three from the top of the key fell short at the buzzer.

No. 22 Notre Dame 95, Seton Hall 69

Newark, N.J. – Luke Harangody had 22 points and 13 rebounds, and Kyle McAlarney scored 19 for Notre Dame.

The Fighting Irish made eight of their first 12 shots, led by Big East scoring leader Harangody. The Irish remained in sole possession of second place in the Big East.

No. 23 Vanderbilt 67, Georgia 59

Athens, Ga. – Reclaiming his spot in the lineup, Ross Neltner hit two key baskets in the final two minutes to help Vanderbilt win its second straight.

Vanderbilt looks to be back on track after losing four of six, which took some of the luster off its 16-0 start.
