Olathe Christian Girls 61, Veritas 40

Olathe – Kristie Tiegreen led Veritas with 14 points and 18 rebounds, but Olathe Christian (25-2) owned a 30-14 halftime advantage and cruised to victory.

Veritas coach Kevin Shelton said he was pleased with the way his team held its own in the second half.

“For the most part, we played much better in the second half,” Shelton said. “But we didn’t handle their pressure very well in the first half. They’re very good.”
