City trash crews will be picking up used Christmas trees on two days in early January.

Residents can set live-cut trees out at the curb on Jan. 5 and Jan. 12. The trees will be collected and reused as wildlife habitat.

Trees should be to the curb by 6 a.m.

As always, the city reminds residents to take off all tinsel, lights and other artificial decoration before placing the tree for pick-up.
